Speed, Strength and Conditioning

All new at CSS, we welcome Rob Williams to our staff of professional coaches and trainers.  Rob is a licensed physical trainer with extensive background working with youth athletes. 

Performance Goals

Sessions will focus on getting the athletes quicker, faster, stronger and moving with proper running form. We will also develop core strength and explosiveness through plyometrics

About Rob

  • Rob grew up playing football with the Dolton Bears in Dolton, IL. He went on to play high school football at Whitney Young High School as a quarterback, running back, and defensive back. Rob received a full athletic scholarship to Auburn University as a defensive back. Rob red-shirted at Auburn, and later transferred to UMass on a full athletic scholarship where he was a defensive back. He received his BA in Legal Studies from UMass. In addition, Rob is a retired Arena Football League2 athlete.
  • He has significant training experience that includes corporate gym settings and working as a personal trainer. Rob is currently the Fitness Manager for Orangetheory Fitness Glen Ellyn.
  • Rob was a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. He recently switched certifications and added ISSA-CPT to his resume. His desire to provide customized and personalized training to individuals of all backgrounds led him to branch out on his own as an independent personal trainer. He has been training as an independent personal trainer for fourteen years. 
  • Rob specializes in sports specific training, weight loss and toning, muscle gain, fitness and endurance training, and Boot Camp classes. He can provide you with customized training specific to your needs and goals
